The Chiefs are scheduled to travel to Greater Landover, Maryland to face Washington at FedExField on Sunday. The showdown will likely be a battle between whose defense can allow the fewest yards.

Washington’s quarterback Taylor Heinicke has the opportunity to make a statement after throwing two interceptions during last week’s 33-22 loss to the Saints.  The Chiefs’ defense currently allows around 437.4 total yards per game, the second-most yards allowed in the league. They’ve also allowed 1,482 passing yards through the first five weeks of the season.

The Chiefs are favored by 6.5 points on the road, according to FanDuel. Totaling 135 completions for 1,490 yards this season, quarterback Patrick Mahomes will have a chance to shine against Washington’s defense.
