At least, if starters were slated to play. Dallas coach Mike McCarthy has said it’s “unlikely” Dak Prescott plays in either of the first two preseason games. The same is likely true for most of the first-team offense, including running back Ezekiel Elliott and receiver CeeDee Lamb and a handful of defensive players.

What about Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, who will see his first action in Denver following a trade by Seattle? Nathaniel Hackett hasn’t revealed his plans, saying, “every player is a little bit different, every situation is a little bit different.”

So, it remains to be seen whether Wilson or any starter will see playing time — and, if so, to what extent.

Regardless, any action NFL fans can watch after a long offseason will doubtless be welcome — even if it’s absent starters. Here’s how to tune in and watch the Cowboys-Broncos game:

Out-of-market viewers who want to watch the Cowboys-Broncos game can tune in via the NFL Network. Another option for such audiences is fuboTV, which carries the network and offers a free trial. Likewise, the NFL has recently launched its own streaming service, NFL+, which carries NFLN games.

Local markets need not rely on the NFL Network: Denver fans can watch the game on KTVD-TV, while those in Dallas can watch it on KTVT-TV.

Fans in Canada can watch preseason games on DAZN.
